These situations lead to excessive electricity consumption at home. Consequently, their electricity bills increase drastically. Hence, a monitor and alert system to overcome the waste of electricity is needed. It is more focused on electrical appliances that used infrared (IR) remote controls such as air-conditioners (A/C). The hardware prototyping can record the data on electricity usage and remind the user through a Blynk application when the daily usage is at the limit. The result shows that the system is successfully developed and able to monitor daily energy usage and alert the user. |
