Summary: | We investigate energy harvested by the UE using continuous time Markov model. We focus on the energy harvesting results obtained using four states Markov model. These results are obtained using two different scenarios based on the timings for which harvester is on, depending on the Radio Resource Control (RRC). The energy consumption results under these scenarios are also analyzed in both situations when UE is harvesting energy and when it is not harvesting energy. The results are obtained by performing simulation in the Network Simulator 3, NS3, which includes detailed models of all the layers and functions of long-term evolution, LTE. |
