Adiabatic inversion scheme for solid-state emitters using frequency-swept, spectrally-modified pulses

Adiabatic control via spectrally-modified pulses is demonstrated as a pumping scheme for solid-state emitters that enables high-fidelity inversion together with spectral isolation of scattered pump light from the emitted photon stream. This scheme paves the way for on-demand single photon sources wi...

Description
Summary:Adiabatic control via spectrally-modified pulses is demonstrated as a pumping scheme for solid-state emitters that enables high-fidelity inversion together with spectral isolation of scattered pump light from the emitted photon stream. This scheme paves the way for on-demand single photon sources with simultaneous high single photon purity, indistinguishability and brightness.
