Description
Summary:This work proposes a model for Multistage Expansion Planning of Active Distribution Networks (MEPADN) that takes into account the expansion planning of the distribution system considering Microgrids (MGs) operation, with the possibility of isolated operation of part of the distribution system, the coordinated allocation of Distributed Generations (DGs) and the inclusion of a reliability index (Expected Energy Not Supplied (EENS)) to the model. The expansion problem is solved considering multiple stages and with different load levels. The results have shown that the proposed model allows attaining successfully the objectives, and it is also possible to observe the relation between the increase of the penetration level of DGs with the reduction on the EENS index.
