Summary: | The article present investigation of energy characteristics of DC-DC converters with pulse-width and pulse-frequency modulation. A model of DC-DC converter with pulse-width and pulse-frequency converters in the Matlab software environment has been developed. Polynomial approximation of the main energy characteristics of the IGBT was performed. The presented expressions make it possible to determine static and dynamic losses in the power switches of semiconductor converters with the help of computer simulation in Matlab. Approximate mathematical dependences accurately describe the diagrams of power losses of IGBT. The advantages of using the circuit of the pulse-frequency modulation in comparison with the pulse-width modulation are determined. |
