Summary: | Analyzing the effectiveness of microwave absorbing composites, it is necessary to outline the fundamental principles describing the electromagnetic (EM) wave absorbing in different materials constituting composite. Passing through the absorbing material, EM wave loses its energy for absorber heating due to the interaction of EM field with molecular and electronic structure of a material. Mechanisms of microwave absorption in some dielectrics, semiconductors, magnets and metals are considered, taking into account the dimensional effects, since these materials are included in the composite in a ground form. |
