Summary: | BCZT-xLa (x = 0.0, 0.04) ceramics were synthesized by solid state reaction method. Structure, microstructure, dielectric, and energy storage characteristics were investigated. SEM analysis shows the decrease in grain size with La doping. Addition of La disrupted the long-range ordering and promoted the polar nano regions, resulting in significant increase in relaxor behaviour. This leads to slimmer PE loop and outstanding energy storage properties. We observed high storage density (W)~187 mJ/cm 3 and efficiency (n)~91.5% in La-doped BCZT ceramics. |
