Summary: | Radio spectrum is encountered large scarcity on current times due to the increased demand of radio resources. New communication channels are required to test the new technology. Such demands put the technology provides in crossroad where they need to purchase new radio resources or perhaps reuse the available spectrum. Cognitive radio terms to such technique that enables the unlicensed users to share the spectrum efficiently. In this paper, we are intending to study the underlying and interweave spectrum sharing techniques considering the uncertain nature of licensed users. Cognitive radio system is simulated in MATLAB over AWGN channel and results declared a tradeoff between the performance metrics of spectrum sharing (throughput and transmission delay). |
