Summary: | The battery thermal management system (BTMS) is critical to the battery pack of an electric vehicle, and it significantly affects the battery life and performance. According to the actual application situation, this paper considers the heat dissipation of the battery pack with air flowing in from the bottom and flowing out from the side. Under the premise of maintaining the uniformity of the cell spacing, the effects of the cell spacing, the outlet width, the outermost spacing and the width of the baffle on the cooling performance of the BTMS are studied. The results show that the optimization strategy proposed in this paper is an effective method to improve the cooling performance of the system. |
