Description
Summary:In a wireless power transmission system used in a dynamic environment, the performance comparison between a single coil system and a multi-coil system with the same cross-sectional area is described by measuring the magnitude and efficiency of the rectified voltage according to the position of the receiving coil. The cross-sectional area and number of turns of the coils are designed identically. Experimental results show that the multi-coil system with optimized current ratio improved the rectified voltage and power transfer efficiency compared to a single coil. However, as the separation distance increases, there is a problem that the power transfer efficiency is lower than that of a single coil.
