description | Developing high-quality engineering study programs that can meet individual requirements, offer flexible study pathways, and provide simple and quick access to the most relevant educational facilities and lecturers is a vital and demanding problem for engineering education's future. The laboratory is an important component of engineering and applied science education. The emergence of virtual and remote laboratories was unavoidable with the development of the Internet and connecting IT technologies. From the perspective of students, it is a valuable resource not only for those enrolled in distance or online courses but also for those who prefer to study in a traditional setting. Students can now expand or restructure their study time thanks to the widespread availability of smart, portable devices that can connect to the internet. This is a huge help to them, as it allows them to divide their time and learn how to study independently. This self-directed approach can help them prepare for the workplace. It provides students with flexibility and convenience. From the perspective of universities, it helps reduce maintenance costs and allows universities to share experiments, which benefits educational institutions with limited resources. |
