Summary:In this paper the authors present the study of a SENTRON PAC4200 (from Siemens) measuring station, which is used for the acquisition, display and monitoring of the power quality indicators of various consumers, useful for engineers and master's students in the field of electrical engineering. Some theoretical aspects about the measuring station, the Powerconfig application and the related quality indicators are presented. Thus, through case studies, we test the performance of this measurement system and the possibility of integrating it into a power management system using industrial communication.
