Summary: | The worldwide amount of hybrid materials waste, especially of electronic waste, has continually increased over the last years. Society and industry need new solutions and technologies for recycling these types of materials and components. Particularly electronic waste contains a considerable quantity of noble metals, which can be reused in different applications several times. For this purpose, the hybrid materials must be separated into their individual components to be properly recycled. The laser technology offers great potential for separating the individual materials of different hybrid components, which can be effective solution for different products. This paper presents a scientific study of hybrid materials separation by laser. |
