Measurement of Wrist Pulse Using Fiber Optic MZI for Analysis of Heart Rate and Respiration Rate

Fiber-optic Mach-Zehnder interferometer (MZI)-based wrist pulse sensors can be used to monitor heart rate (HR) and respiration rate (RR) simultaneously. The HR and RR calculations of the sensor have very little error with the reference signals.
