Summary: | In each distribution network, several types of equipment carrying specialized tasks operate to realize network stability and increase consumer satisfaction. Any malfunction of equipment or line outage will lead to irreparable damage to the network and consumers. As a result, monitoring processes in distribution networks are critical. One of the vital components in distribution networks is the internal links, the interruption operation of which causes countless losses and damages. Therefore, distribution companies are constantly monitoring and identifying the types of defective and weak links to achieve network stability. This study investigates the identification of weak links based on random matrix theory and probabilistic load flow and compares the outputs and behaviors of these two methods for optimal operation in distribution companies. |
