Description
Summary:The West of Scotland Early Intervention Trial investigated the effectiveness of relapse prevention therapy: a cognitive approach to prevent relapse in schizophrenia. An integral component was an individualised early signs monitoring system. Preliminary data for 20 individuals are presented. Results indicate a high adherence rate and suggest that continuous idividualised early signs monitoring could be an effective tool in predicting relapse and facilitating early psychological intervention in schizophrenia.
