Summary:Aortic insufficiency is a well-recognized complication of adult spondyloarthropathy but rare in juveniles, and no report is associated with aneurysmal dilatation at any age. We describe rapidly progressive aortic insufficiency with aneurysmal dilatation of ascending aorta in a 15-year-old boy with juvenile spondyloarthropathy, necessitating a Bentall operation.
