Summary:The problem of the determination of specific consumptions of raw materials and energy in plants producing more than one product has been studied on the basis of systems analysis. An algorithm is suggested for the optimum decomposition of the plant into independently balanced subsystems. Also studied were the problems of computer-based calculations of specific consumptions. The suggested approach is suitable for assessing the specific consumptions of raw materials and energy in complex systems on the basis of industrial measurements.
