Description
Summary:Two methods are described for producing two-fold fine lambswool yarns, the folding process being eliminated and the spinning speed vastly increased. The physical properties of the resultant yarns are compared with those of conventional two-fold yarns. Comparisons are also made between certain fabric properties, and the conclusions from a comprehensive wearer trial are reported. Finally, further areas of investigation are suggested.
