Neoperla biseriata sp. n., a new stonefly from Tamil Nadu, India (Plecoptera: Perlidae)

Neoperla biseriata is described from male and female adults, last instar larva, and egg. The new species was collected in the Eastern Ghats, 47 km NE of Madurai City. The new species is a close relative of N. ochracea Zwick, which was described from the Anamalai Hills, Tamil Nadu.
