Some Peculiarities in the Resonant Behavior of the Bi-Helix Microstructure

Summary: | In the frame of computer simulations of an exact diffraction problem the magnetic properties of a bi-helix inclusion are studied. It is shown that near the resonance of the "push-pull" mode remarkable magnetic moment is induced, whereas the electric moment is rather small. The value of the resonance frequency highly depends upon the shape of the bi-helix. This fact can be used to control the properties of artificial magnetic composites. |
