Summary: | Both the theoretical and the experimental results obtained for the asynchronous motor optimum control giving the quickest response and minimum losses at constant limited current are introduced in the study. The field-oriented as well as the slip frequency control in the transient behaviour are under study.
Considering the linear model of induction motor drive with constant moment of inertia and constant load torque, conditions for optimum control can be obtained on the basis of analytical relations. To be respectful of non-linear cases, the conditions were investigated through repeated simulation. Experimental verification of the theoretical conclusions has been achieved in the slip frequency control |
