Summary:3-Aryl-2-benzoxazol-2-yl-2-[4-oxo-5-(phenylmethylene)(1,3-thiazolidin-2-ylidene)ethanenitrile, 3-aminothiophenes, thiazoles and 2,3-dihydro-1,3,4-thiadiazoles were synthesized from 2-benzoxazol-2-yl-2(4-oxo-3-phenylthiadiazolidin-2-ylidene)-ethanenitrile and the appropriate of each of halo ketones and hydrazonoyl halides. The newly synthesized compounds were elucidated by elemental analysis, spectral data, and alternative synthetic route whenever possible. All these compounds expected to possess biological activity.
