Description
Summary:In order to detect the compaction quality of soil-rock mixture efficiently, non-destructively and rapidly, both the correlation between the macroshear wave velocity of it and the shear wave velocity of fine grained soil and the correlation between shear wave velocity of fine grained soil and dry density of it are researched by theoretical analysis and experimental tests. So, the compaction degree of interval soil (soil in rock clearance) is inferred by shear wave velocity of mixture. Eventually, the maximum compactness of interval soil in different mixtures is found by indoor large vibrating compaction test. It is defined as the nominal compactness and used to describe the compaction quality of soil-rock mixture.
