Summary:The 110 GHz Electron Cyclotron Heating System on the DIII-D tokamak is being upgraded by the installation of additional gyrotrons, versatile launchers, and an improved control system. A total of six gyrotrons in the 1 MW class will be available for experiments during the 2001 experimental campaign. The installation will be described and the operational experience to date will be presented.
