Summary:The serotonin syndrome is a well-described drug-induced disorder characterized by alterations in mental status, neuromuscular activity, and autonomic nervous system function. It is solely produced by drugs that increase serotonin neurotransmission. We report a possible case of serotonin syndrome precipitated by a drug that has previously not been associated with the serotonin syndrome.
