Description
Summary:Significant difficulties in understanding the meaning of calculations presented by O'Donnell and Visser (2011 Eur. J. Phys. 32 1033), as well as an incorrect interpretation of the formula for the Thomas precession, are pointed out. A straightforward method to attribute the formal calculations performed by the authors to the relativistic effect of Wigner or Thomas rotation is proposed.
