Summary: | Synopsis A four-body distorted wave method (DW-4B) is applied to calculate the total cross section for single electron capture in the collisions of multi-charged ions with helium-like atomic system. The proper long range behavior of the Coulomb potential is introduced. The present theoretical method is satisfactory in the intermediate and high-energy regime and is quite reliable compared to other theoretical methods. |
