Summary:The paper presents the main results of the analysis of the efficiency and suitability of satellite differential radar interferometry methods using free software products and satellite imagery for general purposes. The work used data from the Copernicus program of the European Aerospace Agency; processing was carried out for radar images of the Sentinel-1 satellite family. The result of the research is a series of recommendations on the use of the considered technology and the possibility of its implementation in enterprises, taking into account the revealed features, advantages and disadvantages.
