Mechanism of isotope exchange of hydrogen with water in membrane contact devices
The article presents the results of an experimental study of the isotope exchange process between hydrogen and water in membrane contact devices with a Nafion-type membrane and a platinized heterogeneous RCTU-3SM catalyst. A mathematical description of the mechanism of mass transfer in a membrane co...

Summary: | The article presents the results of an experimental study of the isotope exchange process between hydrogen and water in membrane contact devices with a Nafion-type membrane and a platinized heterogeneous RCTU-3SM catalyst. A mathematical description of the mechanism of mass transfer in a membrane contact device is proposed. The design of the presented membrane contact devices makes it possible to create countercurrent separation units that do not require a vertical arrangement. |
