Welcome to the 3rd BICAME 2020 Institut Teknologi Kalimantan (ITK) has organized the 3rd Borneo International Conference on Applied Mathematics and Engineering 2020 (3rd BICAME 2020) which has taken place on 9 September 2020 by Virtual Format. The theme of this year's BICAME is "Energy Transition, Smart Technology and Environtment for Sustainable Development" This conference gathers scientists, engineers, practitioners, and other researchers who are active around the world and has been participated by 13 universities those are Gunadarma University, Halu Oleo University, Insitut Teknologi Kalimantan, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, Khairun University, Politeknik Penerbangan Surabaya, Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Migas, Tribhuwana Tunggadewi University, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Jember, University of Patria Artha, University of Surabaya. This conference has attracted 45 papers but from the total of the submitted paper, this conference has accepted 37 papers. Our thanks go to the 3rd BICAME 2020 participants who have made a full contribution in exchanging ideas and giving input on the research that has been done to develop science and knowledge for future progress. We also give thanks to the organizers, session chairs, reviewers, and sponsors who have contributed to the success of this event.
