Summary:The paper deals with spontaneous scattering in LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 crystals we synthesized to contain different dopants (Mg2+, Zn2+, Gd3+, B3+, Cu+ and others). We investigated photoinduced light scattering patterns in doped LiNbO3 crystals. We recorded Raman spectra at different light scattering geometries and temperatures. We detected pseudoscalar modes in the Raman spectra of doped LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 crystals.
