Summary:Based on a mathematical model of acoustic signal propagation in an oscillating medium, an inverse problem is formulated, including the definition of a function describing the deviation of the seabed level from the average given horizontal plane. Solution in the approximation of double scattering from the seabed and by volume in the case of a narrow radiation pattern of the receiving antenna is obtained.
