Summary:In our current analysis, antimicrobial and antineoplastic activity of biosynthesized chitosan-copper oxide nanocomposite is evaluated. Substantial microbial activity was demonstrated towards both Gram +ve (S. aures and S. mutans) and Gram -ve (E. coli and P. aeuriginosa) microbes. The synthesized nanocomposite shows better cytotoxic action towards human breast cancer cell line (MCF -7).
