ISOLATION AND IDENTIFICATION OF ASYMMETRIN

Asymmetrin was isolated as the sodium salt from culture filtrate of Penicillium thomii. By comparison with hadacidin (N-formyl hydroxyamino-acetic acid) we concluded that the two compounds are identical.
