The scattering of 29 MeV 3He-particles by 1H, 2H, 3He and 4He nuclei

Angular distributions for the scattering of 29 MeV 3He-particles by light nuclei have been observed using a photographic plate method. Absolute differential cross-sections for elastic scattering, and for inelastic processes for 2H, 3He and 4He nuclei, are given within the centre-of-mass angular rang...

Description
Summary:Angular distributions for the scattering of 29 MeV 3He-particles by light nuclei have been observed using a photographic plate method. Absolute differential cross-sections for elastic scattering, and for inelastic processes for 2H, 3He and 4He nuclei, are given within the centre-of-mass angular range 20 to 150°. The elastic scattering distributions for the 1H and 3He nuclei have been compared with predictions based on resonating group theory.
