Summary: | A system of new and convenient states suitable for developing functional integrals for Fermi systems over complex variables (thus by-passing complexities introduced by the quaternionic calculus in the treatment of such systems) is presented. By way of application, the thermodynamic potential associated with the second quantized hamiltonian H = Σk ∊ka+k ak + ½ Σk, k' a+k a+k' Vkk' ak' ak is given explicitly in the form of a power series in the fugacity of the system. |
