Description
Summary:Species previously assigned to Protostegia are redescribed and illustrated. The type species of the genus, P. eucleae, is retained. Protostegia pleromatum is transfered to Phloeosporella. Two new genera, Spogotteria and Aurantiosacculus, are proposed for Protostegia magnoliae and P. eucalypti respectively. The two remaining taxa, P. autumnalis and P. pusilla, are rejected as nomina confusa and dubia respectively.
