Pennsylvanian Sponges of North-Central Texas

A new genus, Fissispongia, is established. It is based on the new species F. jacksboroensis and includes the new species F. spinosa and the species previously described as Maeandrostia tortacloaca R. H. King. Additional details of the structure of Wewokella solida Girty are described.
