Summary:This is the third contribution to the Oomycetes growing on floating organic matter in rivers and streams of Buenos Aires province (Argentina). Some saprobic Oomycetes of Santiago River (Ensenada, Buenos Aires) are reported. Four species of Saprolegniales are described: Achlya proliferoides Coker, A. radiosa Maurizio, Calyptralegnia achlyoides (Coker & Couch) Coker and Saprolegnia australis Elliott, and one species of Peronosporales: Pythium marsipium Drechsler. All of them are new records for Argentina. One species of Blastocladiales (Chytridiomycetes): Allomyces arbuscula Butler is a new record for Buenos Aires province.
