Description
Summary:The authors served as guest editors of this special issue, which celebrates a trifecta of institutional anniversaries. Specifically, this issue marks the thirtieth anniversary of the Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management, the fortieth anniversary of the Academy of Marketing Science, and the twenty-fifth anniversary of Baylor University's Center for Professional Selling, the longest-running sales center in the United States. The papers in this special issue of JPSSM were developed during an Anniversary Research Symposium at Baylor University and then shared in a special preconference session of the 2011 Academy of Marketing Science Conference (in Coral Gables, Florida) to mark AMS's fortieth anniversary. The authors share the background of this special issue and acknowledge their appreciation to the scholars who contributed as authors or as part of the Blue Ribbon Review Panel.
