Summary:A simple diazotisation technique and its subsequent coupling with three different reagents have been successfully employed in spectrophotometric determination of dapsone from pharmaceutical preparations. The diazotisation was effected with a mixture of trichloroacetic acid and sulphuric acid. The method was found to be more sensitive than those reported in the literature.
