Description
Summary:We report presence of five physically distinct and chemically dissimilar basaltic lava flows in the Kosamghat, the epicentral region of the Jabalpur earthquake. The major shift (∼ 150 m) in the stratigraphic height of the fifth lava flow at the western flank of the Nagapahar range suggests the presence of a NE–SW trending post-Deccan normal fault in the region.
