Description
Summary:The principles and concepts of yoga can serve as a helpful system in which to more deeply understand the complexity of groups. Both yoga and group work are especially concerned with relationships, creative energies, and achieving a greater integration. Yoga as a wisdom tradition offers a means of grasping not only the multidimensional dynamics at play within groups, but also gives guidance toward greater clarity of the inner world of each member and how these inner worlds contribute to co-constructed social reality within a group. Yoga offers a systematic approach that has potential to extend the thrust of most group work toward alleviating suffering and achieving the higher potentials of human beings.
