Summary: | The distributions of the Gm(a, x, g, f, b⁰, b 1 , c 3 c 5 and t) and Inv(l) allotypic markers have been examined in 207 Chinese from Kuantung Province. The results indicate that previously reported frequencies for Chinese may not be representative and that differences greater than previously reported for Gm phenogroup frequencies exist between southern Chinese and Japanese. However, there appears to be little variation in the Inv 1 frequency between these Asiatic populations. |
