Description
Summary:A three-member board mediates disputes and disagreements submitted for review by the people involved. Complainants and respondents are interviewed by A.L. Alexander and the mediators. In this episode, the board considers the case of a mother who wants to give her eyes to her seven-year-old daughter, who has a vision problem that is getting worse. Her sister, who is very strongly opposed, has tried to dissuade her. Mr. Alexander brings the child out to speak to the board. She says she is happy the way she is and want's her mother to keep her own eyes. The board consults with Dr. A.L. Kornzweig, attending ophthalmologist at Mount Sinai Hospital, who examined both the mother and the child.
