In this episode, Angel's friend Erika is worried about her mother-in-law, who is coming to visit. Erika is a widow and a single mother who works in a nightclub. She thinks her mother-in-law will disapprove, and will try to take her baby. Angel volunteers to take Erika's shift in the nightclub during the mother-in-law's visit, but when Johnny sees the skimpy "uniform" he forbids Angel to go. She agrees to wear a coat over the costume. Johnny acquiesces, but insists on going with her. When the rough customers who patronize the nightclub hear of Erika's problem, they devise a scheme to fool the mother-in-law, but it turns out she only wants to help Erika and her grandchild.
