Summary: | An effective optimization method is proposed in this paper to determine the basic characteristics of non-linear visco-elastic elements used in passive vibration reduction systems. The developed method is examined by performing experimental investigations on the exemplary vibration reduction system, i.e., the passive seat suspension. The shaping of vibro-isolation properties is analyzed for different spectral classes of excitation signals. |
