Biomedical engineering letters’ decade-long success

As Editor-in-Chief, on behalf of the editorial team, I wouldlike to celebrate the success of Biomedical Engineering Lettersover the past decade. Biomedical Engineering Lettersis an interdisciplinary, international journal dedicated to thepublication of original investigations concerned with majoraspects of biomedical engineering and applied biophysics. The journal dates back to 2011 when the first issue waspublished. Since that year, 10 issues have been successfullypublished thanks to the extraordinary efforts of all editorialteam members and strong support from the leadership ofthe Korean Society of Medical and Biological Engineering. The journal is progressively evolving to occupy a uniqueposition in the global community of biomedical engineeringjournals by publishing innovative original articles in biomedicalengineering and applied biophysics. In addition,diverse topical collections have been published in the journalby a group of dedicating Guest Editors who brought bestexperts in the fields, providing reviews on trendy topics. In2021, we are planning special issues on three emerging topicsincluding wearable and implantable biomedical sensorsand nanomedicine. KCI Citation Count: 0
