Substrate effects on the surface morphology of high-temperature superconductor layers

Layers of superconductor YBa sub(2)Cu sub(3)O sub(7- delta ) materials synthesized from oxides have been sedimented on ceramics and single crystal substrates and fired in accordance with melt textured growth (MTG) technology. Results of microscopic studies of surfaces of the layers are reported. The...

Description
Summary:Layers of superconductor YBa sub(2)Cu sub(3)O sub(7- delta ) materials synthesized from oxides have been sedimented on ceramics and single crystal substrates and fired in accordance with melt textured growth (MTG) technology. Results of microscopic studies of surfaces of the layers are reported. The effect of substrate material on the structure formation of the layers is discussed.
